Day 1: Arrival and Transfer

Welcome in Rwanda, according to your arrival time, you will meet and greet with your guide at airport, introduction and briefing about the country as well as the trip details, then drive to the hotel for rest and relax.

Day 2: From Kigali-Transfer to Musanze & visit Diana Fossey Museum

In the morning after breakfast, after receiving the results, you will be welcomed by our company representative together with the guide, you will drive to northern side where you will drive around three hours.

When we reach to Musanze town, we shall drive to the hotel for check in and lunch. Then later back to gorilla museum where we shall see insight about gorilla conservation success story, this place holds a fact about mountain gorilla protection and interaction with local people. From there, drive back to the hotel for evening stay and dinner.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes and Cultural Experience

Wakeup to an early morning breakfast and report to the park headquarters for briefing and allocation of Gorilla trekking groups. Later, you will head into the cold and misty forested slopes of Virunga national park for your Gorilla trek.

The trek can be anywhere between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas and upon finding them, you will be allowed 1 hour to see and take photos after which you exit the forest. Meet your driver / guide and transfer back to the lodge. If you feel strong, you will have cultural experience at ibyiwacu cultural village. and then drive to your lodge.

Day 4: Morning breakfast, check out and transfer to Kigali

Wake up to a tasty breakfast, check out of your hotel and connect the road enjoy the drive back to Kigali, you will have lunch there, afternoon relax while waiting for drop off.
